• Veeam Agent for AIX trail or paid license.
• root or sudo access to AIX Server.

• root or sudo access to AIX server.
• Access to download Veeam Agent for AIX from veeam website.
• ssh access to AIX server.
• Veeam agent for AIX installer.
• permissions to deploy agent on AIX server.

Method:

1. Download the Veeam Agent for AIX installation package from the Veeam website.
2. Once the download is complete, extract the contents of the package to a local directory on your AIX server.
3. Open a terminal session on your AIX server and navigate to the directory where you extracted the installation package.
4. Run the following command to start the installation process: rpm -ivh VeeamAgent-4.0.0.891-ppc64.rpm
5. Follow the prompts to accept the license agreement, select the installation location, and configure any additional settings as needed.
6. When prompted, enter your Veeam license key to activate the agent. If you don’t have a license key, you can request a free trial from the Veeam
