Recipe: Installing Veeam Explorers for Tenants

Expected deliverables:

The installation of Veeam Explorers for Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Teams for Tenants in the Veeam Backup & Replication server.

Time to complete: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

• A server running Veeam Backup & Replication

Before you start: You can install Veeam Explorers individually only on a server running Veeam Backup & Replication.

Assumptions:

Method:

1. Access the Veeam Backup & Replication server.
2. Download the “Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365” installation package.
3. Open the “Veeam.Backup365.iso” file and run “Veeam.Setup.exe”.
4. On the splash screen, click Install.
5. Click “Install Veeam Explorers”.
6. Click “I Accept” after reading the “License Agreement” to proceed.
7. Check that the wizard does not detect potential installation problems, and fix the issues if necessary. Then, continue the installation.
8. Review the Veeam Explorers versions ready to install and click “Install”.
9. When the installation process is complete, click “Finish” to exit the wizard.
