Recipe: Removing M365 Organizations
Expected deliverables:
A Microsoft 365 organization renamed in the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 infrastructure.
Time to complete: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- Access to Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 GUI using a browser
Before you start: Only the organization name that is displayed in the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 console is changed. When creating “Mailbox Protection Reports”, organizations will be shown with their default names.
Assumptions: You have an existing Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 installation and a configured 365 organization.
Method:
- Open the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 interface.
- On the “Organizations” view, right-click an organization and select “Rename organization”.
- Select “Use the following name”, provide a new name and description then click “Rename”.
