Recipe: Stop publishing VMs recovered with Instant VM Recovery
Expected deliverables:
Virtual Machine recovered with Instant VM Recovery is stopped and removed.
Time to complete: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- A Virtual Machine must have been recovered successfully using Instant VM Recovery
Before you start:
[For an Hyper-V or AHV VM restored to the original location] Both the recovered and original VMs are removed if you stop publishing the recovered VM. This is because during restore to the original location, Veeam removes the original VM.
Assumptions:
You have a Veeam Backup and Replication server installed.
Method:
- Open the Home view.
- In the inventory pane, select the Instant Recovery node.
- In the working area, right-click a VM and select Stop publishing.
- In the pop-up window confirm you want to stop the session clicking in Yes.
