Recipe: SOBR - Removing Scale-Out Backup Repositories

The removal of a Scale-Out Backup Repository and the conversion of its performance extents back to backup repositories

Ingredients:
- An existing Scale-Out Backup Repository
Before you start:
You cannot remove a scale-out backup repository at which at least one job is currently targeted. Backup files are not removed from backup repositories — they remain on the disk.
Assumptions:
It’s assumed that you already have a Veeam Backup Server fully working in your environment.
Method:
- Open the Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
- Select Backup Infrastructure on the bottom left menu.
- Right-click the backup repository under Scale-out Repositories and select Remove.
