- An existing Scale-Out Backup Repository with at least the Capacity Tier
Before you start:
If the backup chain was created as a single storage backup file, you will need to remove all the VMs from the backup, or the whole backup itself. Otherwise, no capacity will be freed. Immutable backups cannot be removed.
You have a Veeam Backup and Replication server installed.
- Open the Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
- In the Home screen, select Backups > Object Storage if you want to delete a backup from the capacity tier, or Backups > Archive if you want to delete backups from the archive tier.
- Right-click a backup and select Delete from disk.
